Impressions from MED TECH WORLD 2023 Summit in Malta

A Celebration of Energy-Based Innovation

In October, Synergotron had the honor of receiving the “Best Start-Up Company” award as part of the Labena Ventures cohort at Med-Tech World 2023 in Valletta, Malta.

At the Start-Up Village inside the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre, Synergotron presented Healeex, its first non-invasive wellness product powered by Hybrid Plasma Technology.

A Platform for Wellness Innovation

As finalists in the Labena Ventures Accelerator Program, the Synergotron team was hosted on the main exhibition floor, where Healeex attracted strong interest from visitors, professionals, innovation leaders, and potential partners.

Healeex was presented as a user-friendly wellness product designed to support general wellbeing, relaxation, body-care routines, and everyday comfort through non-invasive, energy-based technology.

We are grateful to the Med-Tech World team and to all attendees who took time to explore our technology and share valuable feedback. Their interest reflected the growing demand for accessible, non-invasive wellness solutions designed for modern lifestyles.

Recognition That Fuels Our Purpose

During the Labena Ventures Demo Day, Synergotron’s CEO Domagoj Prebeg and CBO Emil Barić presented the company’s vision to an international panel of judges from the health, technology, and innovation sectors.

The Demo Day took place in the impressive Vassalli Hall of the Mediterranean Conference Centre on the final day of the Med-Tech World Summit. The judging panel included Pilar Fernandez Hermida, Dr. Avi Mehra, Saurabh Tak, Philippe Gerwill, Boštjan Čeh, and Michael Maylahn.

Receiving the “Best Start-Up Company” award was an important validation for the Synergotron team and a strong encouragement to continue developing science-informed, high-integrity technologies with international potential.

Event Feedback and Technology Vision

During the event, Synergotron received encouraging feedback from visitors, partners, and event representatives. Some comments reflected enthusiasm for the broader potential of Hybrid Plasma Technology and Synergotron’s long-term innovation roadmap.

These impressions included positive remarks about the company’s innovative approach, the future potential of its technology platform, and the quality of the Healeex concept as Synergotron’s first commercial wellness product.

For the event, Synergotron also created a video presentation to introduce Hybrid Plasma Technology, Healeex, and the company’s broader vision for future non-invasive, energy-based innovation.

Looking Ahead

Events like Med-Tech World remind us how important it is to build international community around innovation — and how far a shared vision can go when supported by research, precision, and purpose.

Healeex represents Synergotron’s first market-ready wellness product and the first commercial expression of Hybrid Plasma Technology. At the same time, Synergotron continues to pursue long-term research, development, and strategic partnerships to explore future applications of its technology platform.

Any future regulated applications would require formal validation, certification, and regulatory approval, and remain clearly separate from the current wellness positioning of Healeex.
